The Story

The Beauty & Bones Bowl

Blue & White Narrative Porcelain · Mirrored Inside & Outside Painting · Jingdezhen

For fruit, shared dishes, table styling, or as a collectible object

Around its exterior, elegantly dressed women are painted in cobalt blue. Look inside, and each figure is mirrored by a skeleton on the interior, positioned in the same place and repeating the same gesture — beauty and bone occupying two sides of the same porcelain wall.

The skeleton is not presented as macabre — placed directly behind the living figure, it becomes her continuation rather than her opposite, a reminder that beauty and mortality are parts of the same existence. JingTale reimagines the piece as a contemporary serving or fruit bowl, while preserving its conceptual tension as a collectible object.

Beauty outside. Bones within.
Two surfaces. One existence.

Born in the world's porcelain capital, where a thousand years of kiln culture still persists.

Our Philosophy

Art should be lived with.

We create pieces meant to be used, cherished, and passed down—bringing beauty to the ordinary, every day.

Craft deserves context.

We honor tradition by placing each piece in dialogue with its origins, culture, and the hands that shape it.

Fewer, better things.

We believe in intention over impulse—creating in small numbers, with care, and with lasting meaning.

Our mission

We do not want these objects to remain beautiful things from another culture, admired only from a distance. We want them to live with you.

We felt that sense of calm and strength ourselves. Our mission is to pass a little of it on.

Through thoughtful curation, cultural storytelling and new ways of using traditional forms, we hope to build a bridge between Jingdezhen and contemporary life around the world — allowing every piece to carry its history forward while finding a new purpose, a new ritual and, eventually, a new story with you.
