The Story

The Wild Spirit Lidded Mug

350ml Lidded Ceramic Mug · Jingdezhen

For coffee, tea, slow mornings, and quiet moments of your own

The Wild Spirit Lidded Mug brings the imagery of nature into an everyday drinking ritual. Across three distinct designs — Peacock, Banana Leaf and Deer — familiar forms from the natural world are interpreted through expressive ceramic surfaces, where colour, texture and fire give each piece its own character.

The Peacock celebrates beauty in full expression, its feather-like patterns unfolding across the darker glaze with a sense of movement and confidence. The Banana Leaf carries a quieter story, inspired by leaves moving outside an artist's studio window on a summer evening. The Deer represents the free spirit within — gentle yet untamed.

With its generous 350ml capacity and traditional lidded form, JingTale reimagines the vessel for contemporary coffee and tea rituals. The lid helps preserve warmth between sips.

Drink slowly. Stay curious. Keep something wild within.

Our Philosophy

Art should be lived with.

We create pieces meant to be used, cherished, and passed down—bringing beauty to the ordinary, every day.

Craft deserves context.

We honor tradition by placing each piece in dialogue with its origins, culture, and the hands that shape it.

Fewer, better things.

We believe in intention over impulse—creating in small numbers, with care, and with lasting meaning.

Our mission

We do not want these objects to remain beautiful things from another culture, admired only from a distance. We want them to live with you.

We felt that sense of calm and strength ourselves. Our mission is to pass a little of it on.

Through thoughtful curation, cultural storytelling and new ways of using traditional forms, we hope to build a bridge between Jingdezhen and contemporary life around the world — allowing every piece to carry its history forward while finding a new purpose, a new ritual and, eventually, a new story with you.
