The Story

The Gilded Scroll Plate

Maximalist Floral Porcelain · Jingdezhen
For pastries, desserts, jewellery, keepsakes, or paired with the Gilded Scroll Ring Cup

The Gilded Scroll Plate expands the ornamental language of the Ring Cup across a wider canvas. Flowing botanical scrolls circle the surface in deep ink tones, framed by geometric borders and subtle warm accents against an aged ivory ground.

Rather than placing decoration only around the edge, the pattern moves inward toward the centre, creating a composition that reveals itself gradually when the cup is lifted. Paired together, cup and plate become two layers of the same design — one sculptural and dimensional, the other open and expansive.

JingTale gives the plate a life beyond its original pairing. Use it for a morning pastry, afternoon dessert or chocolates beside coffee; away from the table, it becomes a place for jewellery, perfume, keys or the small objects collected throughout the day.

Whether paired with the Ring Cup or used independently, it reflects the same idea: everyday function does not require visual restraint.

An ordinary surface can still carry character.

Lift the cup. Discover another layer.
Made to match. Beautiful enough to stand alone.

Our Philosophy

Art should be lived with.

We create pieces meant to be used, cherished, and passed down—bringing beauty to the ordinary, every day.

Craft deserves context.

We honor tradition by placing each piece in dialogue with its origins, culture, and the hands that shape it.

Fewer, better things.

We believe in intention over impulse—creating in small numbers, with care, and with lasting meaning.

Our mission

We do not want these objects to remain beautiful things from another culture, admired only from a distance. We want them to live with you.

We felt that sense of calm and strength ourselves. Our mission is to pass a little of it on.

Through thoughtful curation, cultural storytelling and new ways of using traditional forms, we hope to build a bridge between Jingdezhen and contemporary life around the world — allowing every piece to carry its history forward while finding a new purpose, a new ritual and, eventually, a new story with you.
