退款政策
JingTale sells hand-made porcelain in small numbers. This policy explains how to return a piece and how refunds work. It does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
Your right to change your mind
If you are a consumer in the UK or EU, you have 14 days from the day you receive your order to tell us you wish to cancel it, for any reason and without giving one. You then have a further 14 days to send the piece back.
To start a return, contact us through our contact page before sending anything back, so we can confirm the correct return address. Pieces sent back without contacting us first may be delayed or go astray.
Condition of returned pieces
Please return the piece unused and, where possible, in its original packaging. You may handle a piece as you would in a shop to see what it is; if it is damaged beyond that through unnecessary handling, we may reduce the refund to reflect the loss in value.
Who pays return postage
If you are returning a piece because you changed your mind, you pay the cost of return postage. Because these pieces are fragile and travel a long way, please pack carefully and use a tracked service.
If a piece arrives faulty, damaged in transit, or is not as described, we pay for the return and you will not be out of pocket.
If your order arrives damaged
Porcelain travels well, but not always. If a piece arrives broken, photograph the piece and the packaging before unpacking anything further, then contact us through the contact page. We will arrange a replacement or a full refund.
Hand-made variation is not a fault
Glaze pooling, small kiln specks, slight asymmetry and shifts in the depth of colour are evidence of a hand and a fire, not of a defect, and are described as such on each piece. This does not affect your right to change your mind under the section above — you may still return a piece within the cancellation period for any reason.
Refunds
Once we receive the returned piece — or proof that you have sent it — we will refund you within 14 days, using the same payment method you used to order. Where you have exercised your right to cancel, we refund the price of the piece and the standard outbound delivery cost.
Questions
Ask us anything through the contact page before you order or after. We would rather answer a question than process a return.
