The Story

The Albizia Bloom Egg Cup

Albizia & Butterfly Porcelain · 250ml · Jingdezhen
For coffee, tea, matcha, or whatever brings a softer start to your day

The Albizia Bloom Cup captures a garden in its most fleeting moment — soft pink albizia blossoms opening among delicate green leaves, with butterflies appearing between the branches.

Known for its light, feathery flowers, the albizia brings an unmistakable sense of softness to the porcelain. Fine botanical details unfold around the rounded body, while the gently irregular rim gives the cup an organic quality, as though the vessel itself has begun to bloom.

Butterflies introduce another layer of movement. Rather than forming a perfectly symmetrical composition, flowers, branches and butterflies appear at different heights and angles, allowing the scene to reveal itself gradually as the cup turns in the hand.

Reimagined by JingTale for the contemporary coffee ritual, its generous 250ml capacity makes it equally suited to a flat white, cappuccino, matcha or tea. Traditional botanical painting enters an ordinary morning not as something precious to be kept away, but as something to be held and lived with.

A small reminder that softness does not have to mean stillness. Like blossoms opening and butterflies passing through, some of life's most beautiful moments are beautiful precisely because they move.

Let the morning bloom slowly.
A garden, held between your hands.

Our Philosophy

Art should be lived with.

We create pieces meant to be used, cherished, and passed down—bringing beauty to the ordinary, every day.

Craft deserves context.

We honor tradition by placing each piece in dialogue with its origins, culture, and the hands that shape it.

Fewer, better things.

We believe in intention over impulse—creating in small numbers, with care, and with lasting meaning.

Our mission

We do not want these objects to remain beautiful things from another culture, admired only from a distance. We want them to live with you.

We felt that sense of calm and strength ourselves. Our mission is to pass a little of it on.

Through thoughtful curation, cultural storytelling and new ways of using traditional forms, we hope to build a bridge between Jingdezhen and contemporary life around the world — allowing every piece to carry its history forward while finding a new purpose, a new ritual and, eventually, a new story with you.
