The Story

The Auspicious Motifs Cup Collection

吉相纹样杯系列 · Jingdezhen Porcelain · Contemporary Everyday Cup · Multiple Motifs

Some symbols are made to be admired from a distance. We wanted these to become part of everyday life.

The Auspicious Motifs Cup Collection brings traditional East Asian decorative imagery onto a simple, contemporary porcelain form. Each cup carries a different visual language: sacred figures, phoenixes, floral medallions and ornamental patterns unfold across the porcelain surface — protection, renewal, harmony and the human desire for a life lived well.

Fill the cup with coffee in the morning, tea in the afternoon, water beside your desk, or a drink at the end of the day.

Because for us, tradition does not need to remain behind glass. It can live with you.

01

A brush laying colour onto unfired porcelain

Hand-painted

Every motif is painted by hand in Jingdezhen.

02

A luminous glazed porcelain surface catching the light

Fine porcelain

High-fired for a silky surface and enduring translucency.

03

Jingdezhen — the porcelain capital and its kilns

Made in Jingdezhen

Born in the world's porcelain capital, where a thousand years of kiln culture still persists.

Our Philosophy

Art should be lived with.

We create pieces meant to be used, cherished, and passed down—bringing beauty to the ordinary, every day.

Craft deserves context.

We honor tradition by placing each piece in dialogue with its origins, culture, and the hands that shape it.

Fewer, better things.

We believe in intention over impulse—creating in small numbers, with care, and with lasting meaning.

Our mission

We do not want these objects to remain beautiful things from another culture, admired only from a distance. We want them to live with you.

We felt that sense of calm and strength ourselves. Our mission is to pass a little of it on.

Through thoughtful curation, cultural storytelling and new ways of using traditional forms, we hope to build a bridge between Jingdezhen and contemporary life around the world — allowing every piece to carry its history forward while finding a new purpose, a new ritual and, eventually, a new story with you.
