The Story
Sky-Blue Glazed Porcelain · Iron-Red Butterfly Painting · Mould-Impressed Phoenix Interior · Jingdezhen
For espresso, tea, digestifs, or a small daily ritual
The Butterfly Espresso Cup brings a distinctly Chinese language of colour, symbolism and porcelain craftsmanship into the contemporary coffee ritual. Its luminous sky-blue glaze is shaped by the delicate balance of temperature and kiln atmosphere.
Across the blue glaze, iron-red butterflies appear in different stages of movement — some with wings spread as if about to take flight, others resting quietly against the porcelain. Hidden inside, a mould-impressed phoenix reveals another layer of symbolism.
In Chinese culture, the butterfly has long carried associations with happiness and transformation. Here, the gathering of butterflies becomes a poetic expression of blessings arriving one after another.
Ancient symbols. A modern ritual.
A little transformation, held in your hands.

We create pieces meant to be used, cherished, and passed down—bringing beauty to the ordinary, every day.
We honor tradition by placing each piece in dialogue with its origins, culture, and the hands that shape it.
We believe in intention over impulse—creating in small numbers, with care, and with lasting meaning.
Our mission
We do not want these objects to remain beautiful things from another culture, admired only from a distance. We want them to live with you.
We felt that sense of calm and strength ourselves. Our mission is to pass a little of it on.
Through thoughtful curation, cultural storytelling and new ways of using traditional forms, we hope to build a bridge between Jingdezhen and contemporary life around the world — allowing every piece to carry its history forward while finding a new purpose, a new ritual and, eventually, a new story with you.
